Painting By Eli's Five Steps to a Beautiful Interior:
1. Setup
Rooms and areas to be painted will be discussed with the customer. Large furniture will be moved into the center of the room. Furniture will be covered with plastic. Floors will be covered with drop cloths.
2. Preparation
Walls will be machine sanded dust-free, if needed. Holes and cracks in walls will be filled wherever it is required. Gaps around wood trim will be caulked as needed.
3. Painting
Prep areas will be primed, and paint applied with a brush and roller, depending on the surface. The ceiling and walls will be painted to an appropriate finish, and clean-cut lines painted between the trim and the walls. Only premium-quality paints will be used.
4. Final Inspection
A final "walk-around" with the customer will occur to ensure satisfaction with the completed job. Any “punch list” items will be completed before the crew leaves.
5. Cleanup
Following painting, all furniture pieces will be moved back to its original positions. Floors and carpets will be thoroughly vacuumed, and all garbage removed. Touch-up paint will be labeled and left with the customer.
